
Sales Support Representative (full-time)

Your role
In this varied position, freedom, independence, and communication are key. You work carefully and, as a Purchasing Assistant, you are responsible for the administrative and support activities related to all purchasing tasks.
In particular, you process and monitor the data on the progress — and especially the delivery times — of our purchases in our automation system on a daily basis, using current container schedules and other communication from our suppliers and logistics partners, among other things. You also collect, process, and maintain product data so that we — and our customers — always have the correct product information.
Because you react proactively if something does not go according to plan, you ensure that the entire procurement process runs as smoothly as possible. If this is not the case, you take action, consult with your colleagues in purchasing on what to do, so that adjustments can be made in time. Naturally, you discuss this with the relevant supplier and/or logistics partner and ensure that the warehouse and sales colleagues are informed as soon as possible.

What we ask
We would like to see you in the office preferably 40 hours a week from Monday to Friday, with 32 hours negotiable in consultation. Our strength is that we are relatively small and flexible. You are hands-on and have an MBO+ or HBO working and thinking level. You have relevant work experience, take initiative with preparatory work, and can switch between various tasks to ensure — together with colleagues — that all work is completed properly and on time. You have the required communication skills and a proactive attitude. You think about what you do, what your department does, and therefore go a step further than just performing a task. You check your own and each other's work and are aware of the consequences of this work for the entire process, for our organisation, and of course for our customers.
You have a command of at least English as well as Dutch. You have an affinity with automation and enjoy making the best possible use of its possibilities. You are driven to do everything as digitally as possible and to help improve this further. In this position, together with the other colleagues, you will be part of the purchasing department, where you will fulfil this role in an open and direct cooperation in a pleasant way.
